I really hope the Japanese Bluray release will contain English sub like the first season. I will be happy to continue my collection of the Japanese Blurays for it Smile

I believe it will like include English subtitles. Not getting into a bias or anything, but makers knows their going get stronger support from outside country than just keep in country exclusive. It's just that simple.

I think my only thing i am NOT looking forward to is the English subtitles tainted with Star Blazers related references. I don't want my Yamato called the Argo, or lead being called Wildstar. The 1970s is over, the target audience grew up, we know it's about a Japanese crew saving the universe that was originally built to conquer the world and fight the Americans...

The subtitles will have in there, i just wish there was option to not have that version in there for English related parts.

Anyways, it seems like we may start seeing this in February or March.

I don't have a problem if the English subtitles are influenced or "tainted" by "Star Blazers." Yeah,I know the seventies are over and all of that. Still,I don't have a problem with them doing that. Just like I wouldn't mind the Japanese giving their own names to "My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic." They're well within their rights to do that just like we did with "Star Blazers." I don't have a problem with that.

[Edit]: removed snark. Errinundra.
