The anime I am most looking forward to are as follows:

Spirit Pact - 1-7-2017
Idol Jihen - 1-8-2017
Kirakira Precure A La mode - 2-5-2017

I am most excited for Kirakira Precure A La Mode. I really enjoy the Pretty Cure series, but haven't been all that into either Go Princess Precure! or Mahou Tsukai Precure. I tend to like the Pretty Cure series that have five team members, as I feel it allows for greater exploration and larger plot lines. I am a huge fan of the designs for the series, particularly Aoi/Cure Gelato. I love her lion / ice cream themed outfit! So that is my most anticipated anime for Winter 2017.

While this article lists a lot of potentially great shows, the series I'm most excited for is Seiren. All of the promotional materials for that show look fantastic.

For the sequels, i'm definitly hyped for Shouwa Genroku, Konosuba, LWA and of course, MOFOKIN GINTAMA WOOOOOH! (sad that no one is hyped about it in the article tho. :c)

Outside of them, not a lot picks my interest but i do have a good feeling about some titles like ACCA, Onihei, Kuzu no Honkai and Youjo Senki. I'll try more than that but for the rest, im not sure.

Might as well list some that i really have a bad feeling about too (but i hope im wrong with them) :
Hand Shakers, the last PV was horrible and turned me off really hard.
Chaos;Child, Occultic;nine wasnt that great from what I've seen (heard that it got a little bit better tho but i dont know if its still worth it) and this being a sequel of Chaos;head just screams ''NOPE'' for me. Also, i heard that its only going to be 1-cour. Just another VN going to get rekt by animes.
ēlDLIVE, it just looks like your average shounen anime but in space. Also, studio Pierrot back again with dem fillers and average animations.

Like a number of the reviewers, Little Witch Academia and Rakugo's second season are two of my top three most anticipated. I would take issue with the lack of Gintama but I don't know if anyone but Amy among the reviewers have watched it. While not initially on my radar, after learning it was produced by KyoAni and watching the trailer, Maid Dragon is also one I'm looking forward to.

While it would be nice to enjoy LWA TV weekly, given that it has been licensed by Netflix (not surprising since they have the movies), outside Japan that seems unlikely.

I do look at the staff when looking into upcoming shows, particularly the director and series composition, but only to set expectations as I watch most shows anyways.

My most anticipated Anime of the winter season would be KonoSuba season two as season one was my Anime of The Year followed by Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen than Handshakers

Besides Little Witch Academia and Rakugo,it really seems like a season for me to catch up on the backlog. Not a whole lot of interesting stuff this season.

I usually don't look forward for stuff but instead look back on what turned out good. Looking forward usually leads to inflated expectations as sequels don't tend to follow an original's level of quality unless it's adapted from a manga or light novel series.

My most anticipated anime of this winter would be Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu followed by KonoSuba and Gintama. Apart from those three the only ones I'm really looking for to is ACCA and Miss Kobayashi's Maid Dragon

There's definitely not a lot of stuff I'm looking forward to...I'm just gonna catch up with shows I have on my "to watch" list... Very Happy

I'm down for more Blue Exorcist, Rakugo, and Little Witch Academia!

I had not looked into ACCA very much, but Jacob's bit about it now has me intrigued as well.

Oh and Spirit Pact looks vaguely interesting....I like BL when it's good and not squicky. I hope it's good.

Not counting sequels, what really surprised me and set my expectations up is ACCA. I've read one manga from the author (not simple) and thought it was a surprisingly good and sensitive take on misery, and it's from the guy who directed some stellar-ly well animated works (even if I didn't actually like any of them). I hope the combination really pays off.

I'm just sad that the two most anticipated shows by out reviewers, Little Witch Academia and Rakugo, are licensed by Netflix and (ugh!) Amazon respectively, and will unfortunately probably won't be simulstreamed in the US. I'm still waiting for my Dictionary anime, Amazon! When will you let me cross the Great Passage?!

I'm not a big fan of ACCA's manga-ka Natsume's droopy eyed character designs, and all the talk about smoking in the PV turned me off (seriously, who makes smoking their main character's primary quirky trait?), but the idea of her dabbling in scifi/fantasy as opposed to her usual hyper-realism has me intrigued. Other than that, I'm not sure what's appealing this season. I never finished Konosuba or Rewrite. Blue Exorcist is set a couple of arcs before my favorite one in the manga spoiler[Izumo Kamiki/The Illuminati arc]. I'll give it a shot, but I think I'll be bored until they get to that material, and they might not cover it.
Masamune-kun looks like it could be funny, but Scum's Wish just looks depressing, and The Evil Tanya looks like Gate crossed with World Conquest Zevezda, and that doesn't seem like a good thing to me..
But Iron Blooded Orphans is continuing and there are usually some surprises in every season's mix. That's the exciting part of preview week!

For TV shows; Gintama, Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, Onihei, Little Witch Academia, and ACCA 13 are the only shows that caught my interest.

For movies; Hirune-hime, Genocidal Organ (it'll most likely be mediocre seeing how the other 2 Itoh films don't hold up well), and the new Lupin III films got my interest.

Every other title this season is irrelevant to me.

@Agent355 Do you have a source for Rakugo being licensed by Amazon? Cause the first season was on CR and I don't expect that to change. Scum's Wish AFAIK is the show licensed by Amazon this season (which they have been more forthright about streaming date).

Having read the first three manga volumes of the former and the first of the latter, you're on the right track. Masamune-kun treads a fine line between funny and mean, so I think how the lines are delivered will make a huge difference to how the anime plays out. Scum's Wish...well, yeah, it's depressing. And a little off-putting, honestly. I'm also expecting some censorship of the make-out scenes from the book, so honestly it may be the title I'm the most leery of going into the season.
