Umm... He hasn't been doing TV Precure music for the past 4 years. That was all Hiroshi Takaki, who's now being replaced as well.

Saki Fujita as Cure Macaron is a really quite amusing casting if you think in certain contexts, and it's not just because it's Hatsune Miku as a Precure. 
With that in mind, god I hope Toei is edging towards a Haruka/Michiru-like pairing with Yukari and Akira. I doubt it's going to be outright confirmed, but man the set up is right there!

About time they did an animal motif, but I wasn't expecting it to be at the same time as a sweets motif. I'm loving Akira already.
