For what it's worth, I've watched the first episode of some shows for those reasons. Although, after that it was up to the show to give me a reason to stick around. |

No need to feel such, Kantoku is definitely among the more famous artists. Type 'Kantoku' in google image search... |

I'm not really sure if I'll need any more than that, but if the story is good, that'll absolutely be a bonus. 
Oh I have. 
I've purchased several of his artbooks and other work and have quite a library on my PC thanks to originally really falling in love with his characters from Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat a couple of years ago. I don't actually feel bad, but this is one of the first times that I've wanted to watch something and really not cared much at all about anything other than the aesthetics. |

Yep, like others I'll give this a go purely because I LOVE Kantoku's art. I feel it's difficult to draw cute and sexy at the same time, but man, he nails it and I've equally enjoyed the evolution of his style over the years. My fav.
Fingers crossed this anime actually keeps more of his distinct look (especially the eyes) like Henneko (I don't think it's that bad of a show by the way) and less like the amateur butchering all-round of Garakowa. I mean, an original movie and art by Kantoku? What could go wrong? Ugh, so disappointing in so many ways. |
