The overflow of chocolates could be seen as a testament of Prince of Tennis's vocal and massive popularity. Smile

Everyone and their grandmother knows that, Mr. Obvious. Tenipuri is still the most popular and active franchise within the sports genre. Slam Dunk, Captain Tsubasa etc. still hold the title for the most selling manga ever but their fandoms are practically dead inlike Tenipuri which is still has a solid fanbase since '99. While it's not active in the anime scene, what keeps it alive is most definitely the stage/musical plays.

Before you bring up Haikyuu. I'm pretty sure it's momentum will die as soon as the manga ends, like what happened with KnB. If it still is active as it's now after 10 years then I'll start considering it as the most popular sports franchise in our current times otherwise nah.

"Don't spend too much.."
(Mortgages house)

I love that they tried to reason with fujoshi and fudanshi. Like, really, you haven't learned by now that rabid fans will spend stupid amounts of cash on their husbando?

And as an aside, I loved that a couple of mangaka signed up a Kit Kay donation service for Valentine's Day. If only they accepted PayPal...
