Kojima didn't make Silent Hill. He was only involved in the creation of PT (and the canned Silent Hills). I don't think this game will have much in common with Silent Hill's ideas or aesthetic.

Perhaps not but Del Toro was supposed to collaborate with Kojima for Silent Hills, plus Norman Reedus was going to be a character in that game. And now what do you see but Kojima making Death Stranding, with Reedus and Del Toro making appearances in the game. Don't tell me that's not to make up to the fans or Del Toro for Silent Hills being canned.

Some of Kojima's ideas for Silent Hills probably did make it into Death Stranding, particularly the other worlds idea, and probably some horror aspects. I mean, if Konami isn't going to bother, Kojima might as well. But I doubt we'll ever hear anything about what went down behind Silent Hills for a very very long time.

I get a feeling it's gonna be a mess. An amazing looking, interesting mess.
