As a fan of the game, I may pick this up eventually. The lack of a rehash of the game is both a blessing and a curse in many ways. For those of use who have played the game, it is nice to get NEW stories in the universe and not just a manga version of the game. However, as Rebecca pointed out, it leaves the people who haven't played the game hanging on the assumed world knowledge the authors used to write the stories. (I have read what I think is the first volume of this, but I don't think I've seen the 2nd... I'm curious enough about it to put it on my wish list on Amazon I think... But the price point is a factor. There are so many yuri manga coming out that I want to buy more!
