Interesting I didn't even know that Back to the Future was popular enough in Japan to get the comic released in Japanese. Confused

There is that Super Famicom game for Back to the Future that only came out in Japan.

So, maybe it has some popularity.

Yeah, it's a pretty big hit among Japanese nerds, I'd say.

The GANTZ author talked about being inspired to write sci-fi stories after renting Back to the Future from the video store. Although most fans agree he seems to have been a lot more "inspired" by his first porno tape that he also rented on that same trip to the video store... Rolling Eyes
