Netflix to Premiere Cyborg 009: Call of Justice on February 10

Is this something that can be watched (and enjoyed) without any prior experience with Cyborg 009?

Also, Netflix seems to really like CG anime.

I hope this is better than Re:Cyborg. Kenji Kamiyama was trying way too hard to be his mentor with that one.

I'm curious in who the English voice cast will be this time. I kind of want Seth back for 009, but I doubt it'll happen, unless the top-secret animation project he mentioned on his twitter back on Jan 23 is Cyborg 009 or it could be Digimon. Guess we'll find out on Feb 10.

Probably Digimon. Shout Factory confirmed last month that the second and third Adventure Tri films will be dubbed.

The CGI looks really stiff.

009 vs Devilman was at least gorgeous to look at.

Yeah, I agree, though it did have some cool moments with the modern touches it was disappointing. It should have been so much better.

Nice, good to have it confirmed that they are going to keep dubbing the rest of those.

I agree trunkschan90, Seth back for Joe would be amazing though. Cyborg 009 2001 still the best.

I would imagine it's Digimon because that's his most famous role. Then again "saving the world one line at a time!" could also be a reference to 009. How I truly feel for VA wanting to not be restrained by NDAs.
