Hopefully at the end of the movie they announce a season 3 of fairy tail. And hopefully funi dubs this quick.

I know the movies are supposed to be non-canon to an extent but i cant help but assume this takes place before the current arc since Natsu pulled the "I'm human" card which somehow destroyed both his demon and dragon seeds. Meaning he wont turn into a dtagon Because thats how that works.
My love for FT has dramatically waned over the years, but i still enjoy the series enough to check this movie out.

Think I'll have to catch up with the manga as I'm getting very spoilery vibes from this, but I'm really ecited for this movie otherwise. I hope the BD will be released around october or november.

The visual looks so dope! With many big announcements coming for Fairy Tail lately it's only right at the end of this movie S3 is announced as well!
Hopefully Funimation can get this quick so that we can see a Q3-Q4 release west. Preferably subbed IMO. Man I can't wait to see this!

Likewise i truly hope they will continue the tv series would be a shame to just leave it like this so yeah cant wait for the movie and crossing my fingers that they announce an continuation for the tv series

A highly praised movie that didn't even make $1 million at the box office is still a flop.

Well except I'm pretty sure it only aired in Japanese theaters, it's a non-cannon movie based on an anime and not a stand alone story and home video sales likely did far better than box-office ones.
So judging something by Box office numbers alone is kind of pointless.
