They really should have a "one entry per property" limit on these things.

I had no idea that Tiger and Bunny was so popular in Japan.

I'm surprised Legend Of The Galactic Heroes is even in it

Good list overall, but I'm still baffled by Joker Game rating so high on some of the lists coming out lately. It was such a forgettable series that steadily declined after the first few episodes.

100 years of quality judging by those preliminary results.

I'd guess it's like how X-Japan somehow seem to win every rock/metal poll they're in. Not the biggest fanbase, but an obsessive one.

Oh, it seems like many other people were just voting for their favorites, as I did, rather than intellectual beard-stroking over which anime is the masterpieciest masterpiece.

Now I don't feel like as much of a philistine for voting for Non Non Biyori and Strawberry Marshmallow over whatever timeless classic I "should have" voted for instead.

It's worth noting that series from Fall 2016 are, for some reason, not included in this voting

I died a little at this list (no Hunter x Hunter (2011) Sad).

This and the anime song poll just shows me that too many casual anime fans influenced the outcome. I believe Tiger & Bunny and Joker Game are very popular with housewives and they just voted for the only ones they know.

I very much doubt any of the anime ranked above LoGH are better than LoGH. The ones I've seen are certainly not.

Lol, what a troll job this list is.

Sure. Is this order a rabbit is truly amongst the all-time greats.

Plus it was many people's formative fandom experience (similarly to X-Japan) and they have a soft spot for it.

Housewives? Lol, no. Try otaku voting for the show they're the most fannish about and/or have the fondest memories of being fannish about. (At least Yuri on Ice is apparently not an option, otherwise it would win this poll, too...)

HxH wasn't that popular in Japan during it's airing.

Also, T&B is popular among a lot of demographics, due to the diversity of its cast and the great representation of a trans character. t's also really unique in its superhero representation, and the sponsor concept.

Your comment about "casual anime viewer" just sounds full of stereotypes and prejudices.

T&B has a very dedicated fandom.
