There won't be an episode next week.

I like the designs of the main Marine characters and if it is anything like the G-8 Arc after Skypeia then this could be a pretty damn good filler arc.

Did Oda make these character designs himself, or did the filler arc character designers at Toei design them? I'm asking because Grant and that vice admiral actually look way closer to Oda's style than Toei's usual original characters. The other two have more of the filler style in them.

That's nice, even though I haven't watched OP, I'm glad that the viewers can have an arc which (probably) won't suffer with slow pacing.

A) The One Piece anime is not known to have long filler arcs.
B) The manga is nearing its climax of its current arc. But who knows how long that takes to end.
C) The manga is rougly above 60% and under 70% finished.

Everybody keeps saying that but there's just one problem: this arc won't have Usopp, Marine Commander Robin, and Condoriano.

Oda said many months ago in a video interview that the story is 70% done.
