Very nice! This should follow the manga (one of my favorites from recent years) and I'm very excited for this. Great news.

Yes! This is what I've been wanting ever since I started reading the manga back in 2015. 2017 is looking better and better. This manga is easily one of my all time favorites.

It's about time, given the manga's popularity. I wonder if Wit will stay on for the series, or if it will go to another studio.

There's a website listed on the flyer, mahoyome.jp but it's just a placeholder at the moment. It was only registered on the 4th of March, a few days ago.

I haven't seen the first OVA yet, but I've been planning to. The OVAs are a prequel to the manga, right? So the anime series will perfectly follow them in the manga contents?

The OVA is very much made for the fans content wise so I would read the manga first.

So the Magus saves her from slavery and then tells her she will be his bride? The premise sounds unsettling. I'm sure it's not that bad but the description sounds like the female character doesn't really have much agency. I haven't read it so I'll give it a chance.
