Sounds like an interesting TV project. I'm not familiar with Graphinica so the teaser preview to come will probably give a better impression.

Nisio Isin's latest work, Kubikiri Cycle: Aoiro Savant to Zaregoto Tsukai, is not really falling into the tastes of the public. Although it is very interesting, the work has been somewhat slow, and it has taken time to leave. I hope that this adaptation of now stands out. He's a good writer. And I also hope it gets adapted by a good studio.

I'd have dismissed this since I have no faith in light novels as a medium. However, since the author is NisiOisin I'll give this a benefit of a doubt. One of his works, "Katanagatari" impressed me immensely and while his "Monogatari" series is far from my type of show, I can at least see it has its merits. Hopefully it'll at least be something cool.

Dont mistake western fanbase for the overall reception of an anime. Zaregoto is doing fine and its already better directed than most of the monogatari series. |

To add, few people are even watching it as there is no legal way to do so. So unless you hang out where the pirates are, you're not going to see much discussion outside of Japan. I know a lot of people who are interested, and only a couple who have actually done the deed. Those two seem to really like it though. I'm mostly waiting because I'd rather marathon it, but I really hope it gets a legal stream at some point. |

Zaregoto is pretty well made anime adaptation. As a fan of Nisio's writing (meaning I'd normally prefer his LNs over the anime adaptation), I actually enjoyed the anime adaptation of Zaregoto more than the LN.
Most of Nisio's works are to a degree pretentious, and I mostly enjoyed those pretentiousness. But the first volume of Zaregoto's prententiousness is not as enjoyable as it is underwhelming (compared to other Nisio's later works) for me personally. Surprisingly the anime adaptation brought all the elegance it needed to compare to its cheesy pretentiousness. The second volume of the series, though, if only SHAFT would continue animating it, is a hugely improved follow-up. |

I like Katanagatari and x-monogatari so I'll check this out if it comes to CR. Hopefully it ends up better than Medaka box.

Being 1 volume so far, that means that we could get a full 12-13 episodes with low filler.
