Wasn't very long recently they had a collaboration film "Dream Stars" with some of the other Pre-Cure cast.
But now...wasn't expecting already a film version of KiraKira Precure, lol. That's a bit too quick, lol. Either way, from seeing the series so far, its fun for what it is, and more likely the homages somewhat to Tokyo Mew Mew somewhat cuts it close, lol. Though yeah, so far, no idea on who's the main villain of the story, just the minions so far. |

I guess the announcement is obligetory. The movie will be probably released around episodes 34~39 like the other movies. They obviously have to work on that movie beforehand. |

It's pretty much a no brainer that each new Precure series will get a movie.

Is it me or they did get a lot of inspiration, character design-wise, from Ojamajo Doremi?
Silly as my comparison might be, it was the first thought when i saw the pics. |

Well, somewhat, but as I said before, the homages are more likely in line with Tokyo Mew Mew, because of a couple things... The Animal Motif's: Both of these series have them. Along with some of the character personalities, more or less. Naming: Yeah, this motif also counts too as the PreCures in their transformed state are named after food (Cures: Whip, Custard, Gelato, Macaron, and Chocolat), TMM is also this too (Mews: Ichigo, Mint, Lettuce, Pudding, and Zakuro), though they already have their names as food even in their civilian forms. Home Base: Though KKP's is in a Patisserie, TMM's in a Cafe. Villains: KKP's are unknown who they are at the moment. TMM's are Aliens (with some of their monsters as Chimera Animas). Other than that, its less Doremi and more TMM, in a sense. |

Well, i also made that link later, but i was talking about the general look and color scheme. Although for the last bit i wouldn't be suprised if it was some sort of convention for magic girls in anime

Yeah, would have been nice for an actual MG convention, lol. But oh well, lol. And yes, the similarities are close after all.
