Looks interesting, but that plot sounds so familiar.

I'm getting a real Dennou Coil vibe from this. I hope it turns out to be THAT good.

The story and characters look interesting so hopefully this will turn out to be a good series.

Boy finds robot girl has been done dozens of times in anime and video games. One old example is the Sega Saturn game Panzer Dragoon Saga. I think that a gender swapped version has been done in anime before but I am not sure about that.

The trailer looked pretty interesting, some adventuring with eerie ambient hinting at some spooky things. Seems fun enough.

After hearing some complains about it, I checked the manga and turns out it's loli/shota torture porn manga. Guess it's another one of those Madoka thingies with cute girls with an edgy twist. A shame, the trailer and key visual look nice.

Loli/shota is not a bad thing, sorry that you cant appreciate quality sexual expression.

But actually, they use the torture as a joke, and by no means the point of the series. No doubt they will tune it down for TV. The manga is great, and all the characters are super adorable. The setting is beautiful and the sense of adventure that this series gives off is so infectious.

I consider Madoka Magica a very good series. I do think that some series go heavy on the despair and Magical Girl Raising Project was a bit much. On a ten point scale for despair if Madoka Magica was a 5, Magical Girl Raising Project was a 7, and Texhnolyze was a 9 what would Made in Abyss be considered?

It would be considered
"if it's a little boy it's fun to have full on porn with added gore fetish getting anime right? xd" / 10

I felt like there was a catch with the art style, and ZetaZaku's comment just made me nod a little solemnly, lol. I guess I'll do some research to get an idea of what to expect before I get excited.
