I've heard before that there were child actresses in SukaSuka, but didn't know which characters were voiced by children. Not sure if Elk has been introduced already, but if things like Sweetness and Lightining and Barakamon are any indication, children voice acting is pretty nice! I hope it isn't stressful for them, though.

But yeah, I can't find this character listed on any site yet so I assume we haven't met her yet. Looking forward to judging the performance. I assume it will be awesome though. The show already has some pretty good voice acting and I imagine they wouldn't have hired her if she wasn't good, regardless of her age. |

I think it's great when actual child seiyuus play child roles. Adult female seiyuus tend to do a good job playing kids, but there's nothing like the real thing.

Code Geass had two child actors (V.V. and Tianzi).
The character names of that series look like they are coming from Lovecraft's mind or from the TYPE-MOON universe. |

She's not an idol, don't worry about it. Kadokawa gave aspiring talent a way to get roles without going through the lion's den of the idol industry. Even the media in Japan are out to shame an idol no matter the age with little or any criticism at the very least. |

^ Please tell me you have heard of child actors and actresses before, y'know, kids in movie and TV series and commercial that starts really young, sometime even in infanthood (ex: Ashida Mana).
IMO children in entertainment industry is not a new thing, they has long exists in other forms of media, considering how prominent seiyuu career is in Japan, it's not suprised that they begin to cast actual kids in an anime series, plus I'm pretty sure she's gonna be protected by the law, it's not like she will star in 12 different shows a season like adult seiyuu or something. As far as I hear child labor law in Japan is quite strict |
