More proof you don't need a huge bodget to make something good as long as you have heart and soul. Well done.

Man, I'd love a piece of Kemono Friends merch, but the chance of me getting anything here in the States when demand is that high is slim. Super happy for the show creators though, and glad to see people appreciate a fine little story like Kemono Friends despite the animation.

Very likely the items were picked up by a few people who will resell them online at a higher price on Yahoo Auctions JP or other similar websites.

Very ecstatic that Kemono Friends still has plenty of steam going, and it's all thanks to Kaban and Serval-chan! Anime catgrin

The Kemono Friends anime, which was based on the Nexon smartphone game of the same name

No, Kemono Friends is a media mix project (see this article from CGWORLD). The game was just the first part to be released.

I know the show is popular, but the shop probably sold out so quickly because the amount of goods was fairly limited in the first place, and like another user said some people will buy out everything to resell it online for a higher price.

...a.k.a., scalping? If that truly is the case, then that's sad...

The small budget is probably a large part of why the show got so popular, people love underdog.
