Man, all the gorgeous poses this anime has to offer (and figure skating in general), and they chose this weird awkward pose... I was disappointed with this figure back when it was just the uncolored prototype, and I can't imagine any coloring job that can save it for me.
I'm excited for some really great figures out of this series, and I anticipate a fair few more, but this just isn't doing it for me. |

I don't actually mind the pose, I think it looks joyful, but I'm so not feeling that glossy paint on the shirt and am fairly disappointed by their choice of outfit. All black? Really? I'll wait for full official pictures -I'm rather puzzled by the lack of them since the magazine came out almost two days ago, does MH have some sort of moratorium on posting them online?-. As it is now, this is looking like a pass for me :/

It looks to be his outfit/pose from the opening sequence. I would have preferred his purple skating outfit and a matching Yuri in blue.
