Not sure why being small would be a detriment to being a jockey. In the real world it's pretty much a requirement.
If manga/anime is anything to go by, it seems like the Japanese are feeling some height anxiety about being slightly shorter on average than their western counterparts. |

I'm expecting it to be more of a doujin thing, really, but...yeah. Not sure if maybe the author didn't think this through all the way (or maybe they intended it all along!), but a partner sport with one team member literally riding the other, yeah, that's got some undertones there. And here I thought the Korean horse-riding exercise machine was the most suggestive thing I'd see today. XDDD |

We all knew it was only a matter of time.
And in the doujin, the bad boy asshole centaur guy is totally the abusive seme who slaps Takeru around all day, but he actually has a heart of gold hidden down underneath his gruff exterior. Also, he won't let any guy ride him except Takeru, because he's not actually into guys, but they share a special bond or something like that. |
