I'm sorry, I have to strongly disagree with this. While it may be true of that particular scene, 95% of the last two episodes have been mostly boring exposition disguised under cutesy montages. It took Meteora half the episode to get to the point of "this world is possibly ending and I've decided to try to prevent it". To be honest my contempt towards this show grows every week. I see little flashes of potential brilliance get hammered down by talking heads and self-indulgent "LN writers are so great y'all we think so deeply about the worlds and characters we create, we're amazing!!" I expected way less talking and way more action scenes like the Selesia vs Magical Girl fight from ep two, but find myself struggling to fight off the boredom Gotta say I enjoy the bonus discussion way more than the rundown of the regular shows. The former feels more natural and is way funnier, plus they're discussing shows that aren't being covered on the site so at least it's something new. With the regular four, it's just like a watered down version of the streaming reviews -except maybe for SukaSuka since that one's getting good reviews while Nick and Micchy don't seem to be feeling it much- and it still feels like these two have some sort of script, or at least a list of bullet-points of "must-be-covered topics", so the flow of the conversation still feels robotic |

Honestly, The discussions on here are just as boring as Meteora's exposition.
Way too much nitpicking for its own good. Strike 3, and i'm out of here now. No point in taking part in these threads anymore if there's no improvement. |

And I enjoy the banter thread. I wouldn't call it crucial, but it's certainly entertaining. |

If this column is going to stick with the whole "twitter log" thing, then you might want to consider adding a couple more voices into the mix. With the same two people every week, it's just an inferior version of ANNCast that I can't listen to in the car.

Agree on everything you posted, both about the shows and the article. The conversations about the major four feels really stilted. As if it's something they are being forced to talk about. I think this column doesn't really benefit those who look at the streaming reviews either. It honestly seems like a great format to talk about shows not being covered under streaming reviews, as this would be the perfect way to get some insight on them. |

To be honest, I've been skipping the main discussion for the most part, as I've not been terribly keen on the banter especially in the main part. It's had its moments, but it mostly seems like stuff you could find anywhere on Anitwitter, and I rarely go on twitter. At least for the bonus, it is more interesting because they are talking about shows that aren't covered and seems more freewheeling. The only show I'm watching from the bonus is Anonymous Noise, which I appreciate seeing some coverage, even if I don't know that I'd want to see a full weekly review. I am more interested in checking out Kabukibu and Frame Arm Girls but for the latter I was most of the way there due to interest in the show elsewhere.

Kabukibu is way more competent than it has any right to be. Definitely worth checking out if you have any interest at all. Frame Arm Girls is one of those goofy-fun shows we get every season, it usually lands just enough jokes per episode to make you feel like you didn't waste your time watching it. I'm still not a fan of the chat log format but will echo the other comments that the bottom section was the most worthwhile reading for me. |

Stretching the page horizontally so that one side of the text tends to creep off-screen as I scroll down isn't the "fix" I needed. Also with text enlarged enough to read, the inserted pictures cover up the straggling lines outside the boxes, and also sometimes the lines end up on top of each other. I give this one more week before it's just not worth the hassle.
That's not quite right. His line delivery is great, and his stage movements are competent, it's just that he can't walk and chew gum at the same time yet. |

Another awesome column! I do like the two main people contributing, but it would be cool to have like 1-2 "guests" contribute to the columns as well, so that the overall tone could change a little bit each week.
I also like the bonus segments better than the four shows being covered, because I don't really care for them. Last season was the first time I only followed one anime, this season is the second. I'm very excited for the summer season because I'll be back to following at least six animes. Other than that, this column is always very fun to read!

I rather enjoy these, but I get the feeling that this feature won't have a very wide appeal.
Its less in-depth and analytical than the regular episode reviews, but it's also a lot less formal and reading through feels more "intimate". Similar to how watching reaction videos creates an illusion of experiencing the content in question with another person, this "chat between two friends" style of presentation makes you feel like you're part of the discussion. So I imagine this will appeal more to people who don't have a group of friends they regularly watch and talk about anime with. In other words, its prefect for lonely people like me

I kind of like the back-and-forth format, but the physical presentation doesn't quite work for me; having to track all the way across the page every line makes reading it more choppy, and it doesn't display properly on a couple of my devices (stuff gets cut off at the right edge sometimes).
That said, I like that it covers shows that aren't getting streaming reviews, especially Kabukibu, which needs more love. Hana-whatever reminds me of Asuka from Otomen, in terms of secretly girly guys who start off trying to pass as butch; no-one will ever have a personality as girly as Asuka's, but post-reveal Hana is more overtly feminine in terms of speech and body language. |

Frame arms girl is like an adaptation of the Custom Robo series. I kinda enjoy the short battles it has.

As far as what gives with Sukasuka,the seemingly overlooked conversation between the doctor and Willem,Tiat is a distraction that is for sure.
