Became a premium member when they announced Rokujouma. And now they got Daimaou .... definitely worth every dime to support these guys.

Do we know if for Daimaou the situation is similar to Rokujouma, where the fan TL was touched up to release? Or is it a new translation entirely?

I don't know about any fan translations, but J-Novel's translator for Daimaou is David Musto. They described Rokujouma as "remastered", which they haven't for Daimaou.

No clue, but the fan translator for Daimaou is top tier so if they're translating from scratch, the bar has been set very high.

Unfortunately, the last half of the arc after where the anime stopped was a big let down.
