If enough well versed in anime, you don't need to read their descriptions in the article, you get their personality traits simply by looking at those images. What would happen if someone experimented with an anime that defied those expectations, would love to see that....
But aside that, the production team mentioned does show promise of it rising above your everyday generic... |

Considering this looks like it could be a fan-service heavy or yuri-baiting show, it would be less creepy if they could just all make them the same age.

Even doing that would eventually become a cliché, but yeah it would be an amusing experiment to intentionally mix up design/personality trends. As for the show, for better or worst base designs are "as to be expected", I would play a visual novel with these characters regardless if it was generic or goes insanely over the top. The design aesthetic I thought of was "aren't these Kancolle characters just missing there ship parts?" |

What drugs are you on? They are 12 to 14 years old, that falls perfectly into the same age category. Also the designs are very bland and just bad looking I'd doubt any fanservice will come out of it. Not to mention the young ages, even if the design doesn't look loli. |
