One of the biggest flaws of the original series was lack of much fanservice. I like how the new artist isn't making the same mistakes. Laughing

It's actually an adaptation of the anime. The first novel was episodes 1-6, this should be 7-12.

How can it be filler if Kishimoto is overseeing it

that's the same as saying Dragon Ball Super is filler even though Toriyama is doing it

or The Last is filler

filler is when new anime content is made in order to allow the manga to create enough new stuff to adapt as Animes used to be promotion material for Mangas BUT these ANIMES are the official continuation OF THE SERIES and it's the Mangas that are just promo material this time around

NONE of the Boruto Anime can filler because THAT is the canon and official continuation of Naruto NOT the manga
