As you can tell by my avatar, I'm extremely hyped tonight! Haha, still hoping MHXX comes west, though. One can hope! Don't know if anyone else watched the IGN aftershow (don't now what I was thinking) but they were awful to this game. Can't have non-fans talking about MH. It doesn't work that way. Monster Hunter for life! Ready to hunt me an Anjanath!

I want XX too, but I just want the 3ds one. I'm not buying a switch for G rank. I would have gotten one for a brand new game like this though.
I was just watching whatever coverage was on twitch. They were clearly not MH players. My only real concern with World is that the monsters need to keep up with the player's new mobility options. X really felt like the monsters were still stuck in 4 while the player has all these new tools to get around and iframe. Not that X wasn't still fun... I have over 300 hours on it.

I agree on MHXX on Switch. $300 bucks is a bit high for just G rank. At the same time playing it on the big screen... well, that would just be great. I agree too about the monster movement. What I took away from the trailer is that we're getting MH4 and X mobility and Monster Hunter 1 aesthetic. I just got a Verdant Hills vibe from the area. We will see soon enough! Hoping for good news today from Nintendo about MHXX. I'm pessimistic that Capcom will release three MH games within 6 months of each other in the West (Stories, MHXX, and World), but we will see!
