INTEREST: Saint Tail Holds Contest to Create Manga's 'Next Generation'

Hello! Newcomer here, and this is my opening post as an ANN member.

Regarding this whole Saint Tail contest, I have a few questions. Is this contest open to foreign pixiv members? And if so, what are they allowed to post as part of the contest itself? Are they required to draw any character art even if that's not their preferred area?
As a Saint Tail fan, I'm very happy it's being given a new chance, but I wonder how will that chance be tackled...

I would so as well, hence my doubts. Problem is, if the contest demands character designs, I'm out immediately... My drawing skills match those of a 5-year-old, haha. Laughing

The anime had an English dub for the 1st 7 episodes (according to it Wikipedia article). For those that haven't (me being 1 of them), they had the main voice of Rin Toosaka (Mela Lee) working with Joshua Seth as the leads.

Well in my search for clear English translations of the rules, I haven't found much; https://ani.me/posts/3047-A-Call-for-Artists-is-Up-for-the-Mysterious-Thief-Saint-Tail-Manga-Sequel- this page says you can opt to send a rough 8-page draft (without illustrations? I'm unware of how you create a rough draft for a manga), while Crunchyroll says you need illustrations of the main characters AND the 8-page draft. (http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2017/06/16/mysterious-thief-saint-tail-manga-sequel-recruiting-new-artist)

Man, what I wouldn't do to get a proper explanation to all this... It stings a bit that foreign artists without a solid knowledge of written Japanese have to be out of the loop because of this.

Being able to understand the legal paperwork is probably why.
