So we've got two dwarves from The Hobbit films playing Dracula (Dwalin) and Trevor Belmont (Thorin)....should be big, epic voices then! Cannot wait to watch this!

If this shows up on the trackers and I can add it to my lists I'm watching it, anime or not. I just hope the fact that it's an Eng dub won't be too jarring for me.

I see how this isn't really anime but who cares?! The animation looks good and Warren Ellis writes the scripts. I'm in the tank for this show.

Actually, even now I'm still surprised this is getting produced. (Was looking for "F*** Konami!" posts. Ends up slightly disappointed.  )

Anyway I'm going to be keep a curious eye on this, from the bits of footage out the show looks good so far, and that cast looks pretty damn good, and who knows maybe if this does well Netflix might look into adapting other games for animated series from Konami (Bomberman, and Adventure Island come to mind for some reason), and maybe if this is received well someone at Konami will have the great idea that "doing things the fans want, will slowly win back customer trust" or something along those lines Well speak of the devil, Netflix has a animated Assassins Creed series http://www.ign.com/articles/2017/07/05/assassins-creed-anime-announced-by-castlevania-netflix-producer?abthid=595cb5c5f0e8cb637d000003 |

"It's not anime because they're not speaking a language that I don't understand anyway!" This is the attitude of today's anime fandom. Fans who think they know more about anime than the Japanese themselves and justify it because they're fans. Sad! |
