They're really missing out on a chunk of sales by not releasing this for OSX... the first two games were some of the very few high-production-value anime-themed games for Apple users, and it seems like it would have been a no brainer to port this one over, too.

Unlike the previous two games which had letdown endings the ending of this game is the best part of it, but the problem is you have to go through the whole rest of the game to get there. It has the same problem the whole series has of being flashy and shallow yet apparently wanting to be taken seriously at times.

I bought Ultra Despair Girls during the Steam Summer Sale (even though it was not on sale Laughing ). I'm currently in the middle of Chapter 3. A lot of the enjoyment I'm getting out of it is based more on how good it is to be back in the Danganronpa universe than on the strength of the game play. As a puzzle-platformer Ultra Despair Girls is a pretty weak game, but the atmosphere and character are on point, and it's a must play for anyone who loves the Danganronpa series (It's also a must play for anyone who has any intention of watching Danganronpa 3: Future Side).

You thought the first two games had let down endings? How so?

I think they were ported a bit after the release.

They also have the number for it, so it may be completely possible that it isn't worth the investment.

Yeah, I can't pretend to know their internal numbers, or how much it would cost to port this particular game vs how much it cost to port the first two. For example, I know that cost was a major factor in why Overwatch wasn't ported to OSX.
