It would be nice for Psycho Pass to get another season. The film sufficed as a resolution for Kogami's story (hell, just the ending for season 1 can suffice even if the movie was a cool addition), but there's still so much more potential following Akane and the rest of her team.
Just preferably not an antagonist like Kamui who was kinda silly even by the standards of a dystopian cyberpunk series that has people dish out preemptive justice on folks because of a machine that reads their psyche. |

I second this fully. I'm not trying to hate on what is currently being produced, but I honestly kind of wish we were getting more Urobuchi written Psycho-Pass from I.G, instead sequels to things like FLCL, which need nothing more added to their originals. (I say this as someone who's favorite anime is FLCL) Not that I'm not excited to seeing what happens with that, but so much could be done in the Psycho-Pass world without feeling tacked on at all. Even if it's just an adaptation of this manga, I'd still be excited. |
