I'll be praying to the gods that it will be a third season. I cannot get enough of these characters and I'm hoping that it will not just be a recap.

as much as i would love for this to be s3 it's probably going to either be a series focused on side characters, on the 3 main girls (not a full slice of life but kinda) when kazuma isn't around, or a bunch of chibi shorts. in any case i'm happy either way as long as i get to see all the characters animated again since i don't really care what they do as long as they are being funny.
i don't really see this being a recap either. this show is primarily a parody comedy, therefore it getting a recap really serves no purpose. let's be honest no one really cares if they defeat the demon lord or not, no ones here for that overarching plot and it's not really the focus of the series either. so i don't really see a recap as a possibility unless they do it from different characters perspectives instead of kazuma's. How is the anime? I've read the first 2 novels (so the first season of the show) but I'm kinda anxious for the third, which doesn't come out for like a month. Kinda thinking of just watching season 2 of the anime.

This is great news.
I would still recommend watching both seasons. You might laugh at the jokes all over again since the anime's execution are really, really good. |

Dont tease us ...................... and please let it be a 3rd season really love this anime has one of its best comedy that we have seen lately.
