Some things aren't supposed to be made into Live Action films. FMA is one of those things. And yes, Japan is just as shitty in making Live Action stuff just as Hollywood.

I love both series, not sure how I feel about live action, as I have so far not seen a single good one, but will probably give it a go when it comes out.

My main concern with this movie is that it's taking the entire series and adapting it all into one film - that worked really poorly for The Last Airbender, and while the overall amount of material is less than TLA, I can't see it working well here.
