It's been a long wait for this. Hopefully they don't delay this any further. I'm not even sure if we ever get EVA 4.

I am so excited to see this series continue. My favorite is still Fumoffu because it captures some of the more comedic aspects of the manga, and is near the top of my list for all-time favorite English dubs. I also love Chidori, even though she is one of the more abrasive heroines, and thought her steadfast defiance played nicely against both the comedic antics and serious backdrop of the story.

If I had a waifu, Chidori would be a serious consideration. Anime hyper

New series looks gorgeous, though. I wish I could have gone to Expo 2017 and met Shoji Gatoh, but overall I'm excited to see where the story goes from here. I'm have never read the light novels, but I remember reading in the ANN Interview from Zac and Jacob that Gatoh was very open to how Shiki Douji adapted the characters for serialization. I think this was a great decision and look forward to more.

Especially at the very beginning, the BGM reminded me a bit of the opening theme for Airwolf.
