I'm actually impressed. The CGI Stands look good. Maybe this will be more like the Kenshin flims and less like Dragon Ball Evolution then I dreaded.

I hope Viz licenses the live-action movie. I actually like what I see so far.

It'll probably be more like the Gyakuten Saiban (Ace Attorney) and Terraformars live action movies, since it has the same director. The actor for Jōtarō was in the Kenshin films as Aoshi. He was also the villain for the 2nd Kaiji movie.

Speaking of which, I'm really wondering how Takashi Miike is churning out so many movies these days? Was he filming this at the same time as the Blade of the Immortal movie?! Seems like he's becoming a "go to" guy for directing manga movies, and I'm not sure how I feel about that. On the one hand I'm kind of impressed with his philosophy to make straight up adaptations without changing things to be more "realistic" (I mean just look at that hair and costuming on the Ace Attorney film!!), but on the other hand this has the outcome that his movies are basically all kind of absurd. You have to kind of be in for that zaniness. In that sense maybe he was a good pick to direct JoJo's...

Wow! The special effects look really good. I'm surprised. JoJo's is an iconic series in Japan so I definitely seeing this film having a higher budget than usual. Hoping this film is a success!

This looks better than i thought. I hoped Jotaro would look bigger (in both height and muscle), especially considering he's an adult at this point, the rest of the cast are teens so they are fine.
