It's nice that more manga is being published in English, even if it's by smaller companies. However, this looks to be another case of a Japanese company dipping their toes into publishing their manga in English without any knowledge of what's needed to succeed. Zero advertisements, a poor English website(I tried searching for Rogue Samurai on their English website and no results were found), and zero social media presence. The fact that it took practically a month for anyone to realize that they actually put this out in English is proof of that.
Also, it looks like they've previously released the first volumes(and only the first) of two other manga in 2016. So it's probably not a sign of good things to come. |
