I'm guessing the "special announcement" for the main manga is also anime? IIRC, this is an "adult" manga, so I wonder if the anime for both will be in that post 11pm timeslot.

Welp, I'm reading Site as it comes out, Apocalypse v1 was placed unceremoniously at the back of the bookshelf and hasn't moved from there since, so if one of them was getting an anime I'm very glad it's this one.

What do you mean by "adult"? Just alot of violence?

I read the first volume and thought it was interesting, but haven't been really compelled to keep going. I'm totally fine with darker stories, but sometimes I think Sato's stuff may be too nihilistic for me. Still, I liked the plot and was interested to see where it was going. Maybe the anime will help me decide if I should pick it back up.

I remember reading this way back. I stopped pretty early on because it seemed we were just there to watch the MC get tortured. Im a fan of gore, but I hate that sort of storytelling, where everyone in the world is unrealistically evil to the MC. Does that tone down as the story progresses?

I'm sorry am being negative but in my opinion I hate those dark/deconstruction magical girl anime shows like Madoka Magica, Yuki Yuna is a Hero, and Magical Girl Raising Project. To me Madoka Magica is infamous for being the How to manual of How to Kill Your Favorite Childhood Genre. Magical Girl Apocalypse/Magical Girl Site along with other three I mention are a disgrace the Magical Girl genre.

Hmm... Well, now this news has certainly made me interested. It definitely looks like it will not be for everyone (what isn't in this existence?), but I feel like it could be something I could get into depending on how well executed this show's premise and characters are. I will be keeping an eye on this one and the author as well.

Seriously dude. Thats like saying "Oranges are a disgrace to fruit because I didn't eat oranges when I was young" (that may be a bad comparision)
Plus, if shows like madoka magica kill the genre for you. Then you probably didn't like the genre that much to begin with.

Violence, gore and I think there were a couple of nude scenes? About on the level of Go Nagai. But I might be confused with another title, I only peeked through the first volume and then kinda forgot it existed.

Yea I went through the first chapter a little to rapey for me so guess this is a pass.
