I just saw the first ep of the anime and was quite impressed by the trippy thing. Kinda a ghost story, kinda sci fi dealing with strange life forms. I can only imagne the effects they need to do it live action.

Certainly a lot of news going on with Mushishi, isn't there? I've read a bit of the manga and want to see the anime . . . hopefully all these adaptations will spark some interest stateside and something will end up getting licensed. Very Happy

You might want to add taht it's slated for release next year. (winter period).
