So, the sign of a League of Villains member is someone who does not own a comb?

Wow! Great casting, esp. Fukuen-san as Toga.

If this season is ending on a cliffhanger, does that mean we'll be getting season 3 next year?

We're probably getting a 3rd season soon, but a cliffhanger never means a renewal.

it probably wont end in a cliffhanger. if it did like spoiler[having izuku running into tomura in the mall] and have a "TO BE CONTINUED" title afterwards, it would most certainly mean a season 3 will be happening 100%.

though if it ended in a laid out fashion like spoiler[ having it end with all might and his cop friend vowing to capture all for one] , the series could go 50/50. it might get a season three, or it would also mark the end of the anime series in general AKA READ THE BOOKS KIDS!! it happened with owari no seraph (seraph of the end) which is also an extremely popular shonen jump title , but there is little to zero signs of that series getting a season 3, so its very likely that this series could end up like that one. the only way boku no her academia would avoid the latter is that if both ending scenarios have the "to be continued" title in the ending like with season 1.

^ didn't Seraph's anime end on the chapter released just that month on the manga?

Hero Aca has tons of material left to adapt, so that wouldn't be an issue.

Boku no Hero Academia has very high ratings, and there's still plenty material to adapt.
When Owari no Seraph season 2 ended, it adapted almost all of the manga chapters, so a season 3 was not really possible (unless they went the filler road).
Now would be a good time for it.

also, owari no seraph has to go against attack on titan and non-attack on titan , while hiroaka does nto really ahsa shounen rival atm as dragon ball, boruto and one piece have a pretty different format.

The difference is that "Seraph of the End" is a monthly manga, so if it would take years for another season to happen like AOT or "Blue Exorcist."

actually blue exorcist was very far ahead in the Illuminati arc so it didn't need to take years for another season to happen. also it got a fanbase that wanted an anime version as well which is why the impure king arc was green lit, even though the original series had an anime original ending. its extremely rare if ever for a series to get a new season after the first one does that.

However, shingeki no kyojin though is very valid point considering how slow the chapters are.

but seraph is pretty far enough to warrant another 12 ep season. if there were trying to do like academia & kyojin and have a 25 or 26 episodes for that season, then you would be right. but a 12 ep season is another story entirely.

"Blue Exorcist" was barely two years old when the first anime came out.

I wish Funi was on episode 36 dubbed. By it finishing up sooner, they devote some of their resources for the next batch of simuldubs.
