This doesn't surprise me in the slightest. After what Crunchyroll and FUNimation have already grabbed, along with the trends of what Sentai has licensed in the past, this series was pretty much right up Sentai's alley.

I'm looking forward to watching it though, as I really enjoy the manga.

This show had Sentai written all over it. Whatever though as I doubt it will be anything worth caring about. Even if it's good, it doesn't have enough hype for people to sign up for terrible Anime Strike just for it.

So it's safe to say that Sentai will always go for White Fox shows... Sigh.

I don't think it will be something not worth caring about. Many, if not most, fans of the manga have enjoyed it greatly and are looking forward to the anime. It also looks like it could be remembered fondly for some time after its finished, based on the previews. That's jumping the gun a bit before the first episode even comes out. Hype will not affect the show's overall quality at the end of the day and (Not all, but some) people who really want to watch it, but don't want to deal with Amazon will simply watch it by other means as its airing.

With that being said, dang it. It looks like I'm going to do fansubs for this one as I personally don't like to give Amazon a cent for their double Paywall. However, I would still like to support the series, so I will be buying the home video release whenever that comes out. I'm doing this similarly with Made in Abyss and Princess Principal and I like to assume that I'm not the only one with that mindset. If not, well, I guess I'm alone on that particular island.

Since Wakanim is available here in Sweden, I suppose it is in Finland as well? They anounced Girls' Last Tour earlier today (I think).

I'm with you on this, buy the physical release. If they ever are allowed to stream these on HiDive in the USA then I'll watch them there. I am an Amazon Prime member, but that does not mean that I will pay for every bad idea that the come up with.

Oh, here, let's split a Coconut.

Does it really matter? Made in Abyss didn't even make it to HIDIVE here this season, yet each Friday after coming home from work I almost immediately sit down to watch the latest episode of it(just too bad the next one will be the last...).

Wow. I don't know how, but I called this, though I most certainly not happy about it. I no longer am subscribed to Strike, so I was hoping to watch this legally, but I guess I'll have to go to the same places I found Re:Creators and Made in Abyss. Crying or Very sad
Edit:

You are not alone. I will also be buying the blurays for Made in Abyss and maybe this one if i really enjoy it. Lets just hope Sentai can make a respectable dub, though I haven't been impressed with some of their older dubs, but they have been getting better.

Hmm surprised yet not surprised that sentai got this. I figured this might go to crunchyroll due to their relationship with kadokawa but oh well. There are other shows they could have taken rather than this one so im not terribly upset (YET!!!)

HiDive may have it for the rest of the world. I wouldn't totally write it off yet.

HiDive usually gets only selected english countries and latin america for simulcasts - this may include Finland as well.

Wakanim recently expanded their territories (now including engsubs for Finland) and announced that they'll try to get more than 10 simulcasts this fall.

I hate to burst your bubble, but looking at past HiDive simulcasts like Made in Abyss, this will probably be only available on HiDive in United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Central America, and South America.
I guess that means it is up to your local licensers in your country to provide, and if they don't, there should honestly be no moral issue with pirating.

For what it is worth, Wakanim has already announced that Girls Last Tour will be one of their simulcasts:
