Anime cry I was worried about her ever since it was announced that she was diagnosed with the disease.

One of my favorite Rayearth songs ever is the ending she did for it. She had an amazing voice. Rest in peace, Miss Honda.

... yeah it is, there's atleast, and if you're lucky, another 60 years to live. I hope she had a wonderful life and finds more happiness wherever she is now. Crying or Very sad

According to this, the average life expectancy of a Japanese person is 81.01 years. Minako-san was about middle-aged, but another 40+ years would've been nice to experience. She wasn't really that young, but at the same time not even old.

Statisitcal data aside, it's too bad she only lived about half of her expected lifespan.

What are you nuts. 38 is extremely young..the average lifespan for women in this day and age is 74 but I believe that's soon going to change as to the increase rate of people living over 80 years. Steve you must be 8 years old because I can't believe you said 38 isn't young age to die.

And yes it's sad she died. She did good things as a singer for anime. Sorry if that sounds like everyone else or just plain non-emotional but I don't show emotions well....hell didn't even cry when my grand mother died.

Oh, no. This is so sad. The Nadja opening theme was done extremely well. Now I'll have to tell my best friend that the singer of her favorite song died. Crying or Very sad Rest in peace Honda-san.

Dang, that is young. RIP.

How she got myelocytic leukemia anyway? Anything to do with her parents or relatives from during World War II? Thinking back to the nukes, could of been. Just too un-natural for that to pop up that young to me.

I though leukemia is something you get from birth....and they didn't find out she had it till when?
