A poor person's Five Centimetres Per Second, with the relevant measurement being doubled to compensate?

(This reminds me of a rumour I heard as an adolescent, in which boys and girls in the school playground were once prohibited from standing within six inches of the fence that separated their respective areas. The reasons for this, the rumour accorded, were carnal in nature.)

the visual reminds em of all those pieces of artwork where two characters are supossed to be 10cm apart in height and somehow the shorter one barely reaches the tallet one's shoulder. good luck living witha 10cm long neck+head.

The distance between those shoulders looks like it might be more 4 inches.
