Is the .Cc address for news still valid? It was the only one listed on the contacts page.

Anyway, I'm pretty bummed that the cheapest option to actually get the movie is $65 USD. No film is worth more than 30

Whoa. When did Tokyo Otaku Mode start their own crowdfunding thing?

I was expecting absorbent Japanese prices on top of crowdfunding prices but still, ouch. I'm torn because I have reservations about giving my money to TOM, who doesn't really have a crowdfunding history, plus I want to pledge early, but I'd really rather have the 50 days to budget for this rather than have to pay upfront and be refunded if it fails. Guess I can cancel the charge on my card if TOM doesn't refund me properly, but :/

Backed it..
the price tier pricing gets pretty crazy really quick.

Even as a pretty ardent Little Busters and overall Key fan I can't support this. Kud Wafter is weak as all hell. It's even weaker than Tomoyo After. There are so many good parts of the LB visual novel that never made it in to JC Staff's adaptation. I would have easily pledged for that but I'll leave it to the Kud aficionados to fund this. The movie itself was already funded so it'll be made with or without international support.

I'd love to back this, but currency exchange considered, this is like what I spend in an entire month worth of meals or market expenses... really can't justify it.
Hope it goes well though.

If you read the site though, it says this is specifically to add English subtitles. Stretch goals will extend length of the film but if it doesn't meet the listed goal, it sounds like we won't get subs. However, you probably don't care either way from what you said about Kud Wafter. I can't disagree with you on that.

Yeah I was disappointed that this huge thing is for Kud Wafter. I personally think Tomoyo After is a really strong game (non eroge version) which I enjoyed more as a whole than Rewrite. I wished they did something with the group as kids or maybe something centering on Kyousuke. He and Saya are the true most popular characters after all.

I would have loved to have a proper adaptation of the Rin2 route followed up with Kyousuke disappearance and his struggles in the Other World. That is by far the weakest part of JC Staff's adaptation which is such a shame because for me it was one of if not my overall favorite section of the game. Or there were the missions that were cut, or kick the can, or the fighting competition, etc. There's so much more I'd rather see than Riki and Kud sharing a room and getting lovey dovey.
