It sounds like it's just a short interlude to tell a bit of series backstory. I wouldn't expect more than a volume of it unless someone else is working art duty. That seems unlikely given Next Dimension is still on schedule to continue in the Spring. So, Kuru is probably either writing or overseeing it while someone else handles art and/or writing. Edit: According to one poster on Rangerboard: "Ok, since ANN didn't mention, here it goes another piece of info: the story is going to be 3-chapters long. I've seen some speculating it might be some sort of promotion for the upcoming Neflix show " |

Because the Olympus stuff would happen after ND finishes this past story, so they can't skip ahead. A three-chapter prequel story doesn't run the risk of spoiling anything. |
