What interests me about this is seeing artists and animators in my area (country) being able to collaborate and work creatively with people who know how to make anime (or in this case something that really looks like it). I'm hoping to make something just as similar someday but it's probably better to animate something completely original rather than going through the trouble of purchasing rights of the respected Japanese manga artist (or maybe manhwa since I know some artists in South Korea have some pretty good stuff). An anime-influenced animated by Canadians would be called "CANIME", kinda like my username.

I remember seeing a very similar concept in Batman: The Brave and the Bold. I forget the character's exact name, but he made a spiderhorse in one of the cold opening.
