Saying 'once and for all' is stupid, because there will never be an end to this. The favorites changes yearly...heck seasonally even.

Yep, I was about to post that. The only way to solve the problem is to give all your waifu to me  and I'll decide....eventually

Now this some BS right here. I only throws in waifus from anime that were popular lately. Like honestly Sakura from FSN has no right in hell to be on the list when people like Saber, Rin or Illya exist (not to mention countless other waifus from Fate) and the same thing could be said about Hanekawa. And Chise.....she literally hasn't done anything yet to be deemed a waifu, while I do like her character she shouldn't be here!! And if Asuna and Rem really were such good waifus they would have topped the Kono Light ga Sugoi rankings (and they didn't a #1 there even once!)

Asuna taking first place is no surprise though considering how often she wins these polls it would have been nice had Rem been able win. Poor Rem always seems to get second place.

This is all pretty amusing, since I'm rewatching Cardcaptor Sakura for the first time in 12 years or so. Essentially, for the first time in japanese, with the movies and thus without censorship. All this to say: I chuckled a little when I saw Sakura in the list.
Tomoyo must have casted a vote.

When I was a little kid and didn't really know what anime was, I thought Sakura was pretty cute. I guess that makes her my first waifu? That's gotta count for something.
