As I anticipated the visuals are not as polished as the ones for season one, but the character designs are consistent with the first season, and the art and animation seem competent. I hope season 2 is as weird and entertaining as season one.

Had the "15 minute" length (12 minutes) of Dagashi Kashi 2 been revealed before?

I have to admit that the length of the first season's episodes sometimes felt a little long for such a show, but now I bet it'll feel rushed.

If it was, I definitely missed it. I'm bummed to find out it will be half episodes. Then again, I was completely surprised that it got any sort of continuation, so I guess I'll have to consider that as the trade off for getting any new Dagashi Kashi.

Hopefully Funi gets the second season as well. I really enjoyed the dub for the first one.

A bit of a bummer that the episodes of Dagashi Kashi 2 will only be half as long, but I'm excited to watch it nonetheless!

I enjoyed the first season, but, for me, this makes it more watchable. The pacing was kind of slow at times and I'm not really big on slice of life, so this works out.

Wow. DK got its runtime cut, but that's okay since Takunomi is worth it. Can't wait for that. Maaya with another great song. As expected.
