If this is an accurate translation, my expectations of the writing quality just plummeted. What's the point of that last line? In fact, the entire synopsis reads like mediocre fanfic. I'm hoping it's just translation issues, but I suspect it's not. |

There's an additional line that you maybe missed.
It's one of those awkward summaries that turns into prose out of nowhere. I dunno, it sounds like a fairly generic "mankind fights monsters using mechs" plot. |

I must say, I'm genuinely impressed by how Yabuki's current artwork can take any series and completely drain it of any identity and personality in favor of boobs and butt. Had I not been told that that picture is from DARLING in the FRANXX, I would have never guessed it.
I assume he's not actually going to write it, given that he hasn't written anything since Black Cat. |

The plot sounds like plots from 90s Anime. So I don't see it being a success, even if Kentaro went all-out ecchi.

...oh. You know, I was really looking forward to the new Trigger show, but the decision to have its manga illustrated by the Porn For Kids guy makes me question it heavily. This is really disappointing.

I'm sure he CAN, but it doesn't really make To Love-Ru being aimed at a shonen audience any less disturbing.
