I'm fairly worried about how a third "Catherine" will play out story-wise. One of the great things about the original title is the dynamics that Catherine and Katherine presented to the player. You had to REALLY think about your choices at a lot of points in the game and where in theory most should have been a black or white choice you were often presented with some really gray area choices. This dynamic in the story is ultimately what made replay value so great.
It will be weird also if Baker and Bailey do not reprise their roles being effectively the voices for the "main" characters. In a way though considering it appears that a lot more depth will be added to this re-make it may not be such a loss I guess but still the game will not be the "same" localized. Regardless it is unfortunate as both of them are rather good English VAs for both games and dubbed anime.

No English voice actors? No problem. You will be provided Japanese audio. Fans of BlazBlue will guide you through this time if it were to happen.

Both actors have gotten more and more big roles with bigger, and likely better paying, companies. Both have also indicated scheduling reasons for not reprising roles in later Persona 4 games. Baker stopped midway through P4 the Animation to go on his honeymoon, but he also didn't come back for Ultimax or Dancing All Night. I doubt it's much of a coincidence that this was around the time where he became such a go-to for bigger companies. Laura Bailey wasn't in Dancing All Night for scheduling reasons, which was pretty disappointing considering the main premise of the whole game revolved around Rise.
Basically, Atlus would have to be lucky enough that its schedule fit openings for the actors, or be willing to pay enough that the actors would be willing to forego other projects.

Troy no longer does JRPG since he is busy with stuff like TLOU 2, same with Laura (and Travis) though she is willing to reprise in these games if it fits her schedule. So Troy is a definitive no(Atlus will probably use Matt Mercer) while Laura is maybe, maybe not.

they don't do anime games anymore, they got better pays staring in games like Uncharted or the Last of us (both have huge budgets) at the very least though, we'll still have Michelle Ruff

Third Catherine (how are they going to spell it, Gatherine?) sounds good, I personally didn't care at all about either Catherine so it made it really hard to get into the story. I ended up getting the "bad" ending where you end up with neither of them, but that really seemed like the best ending from my point of view.

So they establish a studio whose focus is supposed to be on innovation and new IP, and their first title is an updated re-release. Even if the new content turns out awesome, there's just something inherently sad about that.
Some story details from Persona Central:

That's not a bad ending, just a Neutral one. The only bad endings are when you get dumped because you're clearly lying to whichever woman you chose.

Agree. Alot of Vita gamers seem to be migrating to the Switch, so seems strange not to release it on that.
