Looks like a ps3 cutscene, but I find it acceptable, unlike the new fist of the North star series.

The whole TV series is up on Tubi-TV now which is fast considering the last episode of the first season aired on the 26th this December!
sub-only...

I imagine Viz will do a full series release next year on home video. How well it will do depends on whether people give Japanese superheroes a chance.
You know this show was made to capitalize on the current superhero boom. Convenient that Tatsunoko had all these characters from the 1970s that they OWNED lying around not being used. It's been years since some of them were used for anything other than parody shows. It's also a matter-of-fact that Tatsunonko's founder was a HUGE American superhero comic book fan so it's no coincidence that Gatchaman and Hurricane Poli-Mar have costumes that take a lot of cues from American superheroes (Superman, Batman anyone?).

I dunno... I think Infini-T's worth a watch but I doubt I'd buy it and I LIKE animated superhero series. It's the look of the CG. Had it been hand-drawn and as competent as the original shows in the 1970s were -- Gatchaman in particular had FANTASTIC animation for its time and was much, much better than any action/adventures series from the West in the 1970s(!) --, I'd probably consider buying it but I can't buy everything and would rather OWN the original shows if they were available in the States! (I've got Casshan and Gatchaman/Series 1 on Blu ray but there's been no announcement about a release of either Hurricane Poli-Mar or Tekkaman in the States although Tekkaman Blade II was released on DVD by Media Blasters years ago.)

Three main issues with the show that will make it or break it for people: 1) familiarity of the characters; 2) the writing; and the 3) the animation

#3 is easiest to tackle. Maybe it was MY connection but the show's animation seemed to stutter and one episode in particular (#9 or #10?) had stop-motion quality/very jerky animation in it. Might have been deliberate. At any rate, the overall CG quality is like a videogame from about 15 years ago. Calling it PS3-quality is probably pushing it. They did animation for cut scenes on a general level about this good 15 years ago.

#2 -- it's a nice little show but it's really a kids show. It's not stupid-stupid like that Justice League Action show on Cartoon Network but it's not gritty, either. It's somewhere between Batman: TAS and Justice League (early 2000s) in tone but it's not written as well, IMHO. They're definitely aiming for 8-12 (max) crowd. Crossover appeal to older people might be limited unless they really like retro anime and Japanese superheroes, period.
The lead girl character -- kind of mopey but many teenagers are like that spoiler[and seeing as she's separated from her father for a decade and living alone in a large home it's understandable she's not exactly well-adjusted! Her mother also appears to have died well before the show's present time.]

#1 -- THIS is the big one for a lot of people. I think with the exception of Gatchaman (G-1, Ken; older fans will recognize the character from the Battle of the Planets of G-Force dubs/edits) and Casshan (aka Casshern) the characters are pretty much unknown in the West. I've seen all of them to different extents in anime but not particularly much of Tekkaman and Hurricane Poli-mar (red-suited guy) beyond cameos. Gatchaman and Casshan would be a lot more familiar because the shows have had releases in the States including the OVA revivals (for both Gatchaman and Casshan in the early to mid-1990s) and the reboot of Casshan (inexplicably redubbed Casshern for no good reason!!!). They're all good characters with at least decent original designs. I'm fairly certain three of these characters have had live-action adaptations (Gatchaman, Hurricane Poli-Mar, and Casshern) to varying degrees of success (in other words, mostly mediocre). They've added details for the CG but they're essentially the classic designs intact -- and they work surprisingly well as a team despite being from such different universes.
The characters were well-represented with no particular character "hogging" screen time IMHO. The most likeable hero was definitely Hurricane Poli-Mar, IMHO. Gatchaman was very much keeping in with the way he was portrayed in his original series (very serious, very straight, needs to relax and get a girlfriend).

Reminds me of the CG motion capture anime like Appleseed. So many of the backgrounds are completely static like ghost towns and devoid of people. Kinda makes the whole suspension of disbelief bit impossible.

I hope that Infini-T Force will get its second season. And Infini-T Force itself will be dubbed into English. I'm sure!
