Since this is a Key/Visual Arts game with Jun Maeda involved somewhere in the story department, I would be interested in a TV anime adaptation of this if that comes to pass. As of now, I’ll just have to wait and see how this does in Japan.

Since Rewrite was a huge letdown I really hope this will bring some faith back into Key games. Honestly it's too bad Jun Maeda isn't writing one of the routes for the games like before (Little Busters, Air, Etc.), it just lacks something to make the reader cry imo. I'm glad he is the guy who came up with the original concept though as im sure he will have lots of say in what happens throughout the game production.
Day one buy for sure for me.

Kamome best girl. With that said, I look forward to the anime. I don't think it'll be as good as Angel Beats, but still...

Charlotte was an overly complex sprawling mess so I am happy to see Maeda returning back to his roots at Key with what looks like to be a much simpler story.

Nijima Yuu should be credited with Natsuyume Nagisa and Hatsuyuki Sakura. Those are two of his best works!

While I like the majority of Key visual novels they have all with the exception of little busters have had bad adaptions. So I hope this doesn't meet the same fate.

Well remember that it was 12 episodes so obviously Charlotte was rushed since the studio mostly do 12 episodes for Key adaption. I can say Rewrite was completely horrible and I was surprised that key made an original route that pretty much bad.

I think the problem isn't making it simpler, he just doesn't know how to write for TV anime and tries to shove too much in at once rather than cut it down or figure out how to tell the story more efficiently.

There's loads of stuff in Charlotte and Angel Beats that needed to be expanded on that would have been no problem to do in a Visual Novel (where most players expect to be sitting down for hours just to get through one route) but you can't do all that in anime, or at least not with only 1 cour.

Love hatsuyuki Sakura, but I prefer kisaragi gold star than natsunagi

Or more like the problem lies with changing studios imo. They've been doing well with adaptations while they were with KyoAni but ever since they changed studios the quality had been affected too. Not the best studio (KyoAni) but atleast they were proven to be capable in handling previous (Kanon/Air/Clannad)

That has to be a joke. Little Busters had a terrible adaptation. Rin2, arguably the most important route in the entire VN, was given just 5 minutes in JC Staff's adaptation.

Whereas KyoAni's adaptations of Air, Kanon, and Clannad were much better.

Niijima Yuu is one of the writers for the game. he's usually in charge of the main heroine/true route and his stories are always on the sad side. Pretty fitting for a Key project

All the girls are so cute. I'd love an anime if only because they seem to arrive faster than the VNs do. Really hoping they're putting this in English as it's made, similar to Harmonia. I want to play/read this ASAP.

To all the Rewite haters: PLAY/READ THE VISUAL NOVEL!!! It's sooo much better than the anime. So much better.

I was introduced to LB via the anime first, then followed later by the VN. I agree with the statement about Refrain and in particular the lack of story in Rin's route. However I do not believe in total that the LB anime was bad in any sense.

I also enjoyed Air and Kanon and obviously Clannad.. I don't think any of these adaptations were poor.. well except maybe the Clannad movie.. that was pretty bad.
