Konosuba being on the list at all negates the whole thing. Most interesting thing about Kemono friends was honestly the drama.

I like Konosuba btw, I just don't think "interesting" is a word that describes it well at all. It's fairly generic in almost every way except it has strong comedy and characters.

Congrats to TATSUKI and co on another win for KF. This might be the last we see KF win something so this must be appreciated.

Congrats to KF on taking 4 of the 5 spots in buzzwords.

The meme of "止まるんじゃねぇぞ...” (tomarunjanezo) winning the buzzword of the year is just perfect

Kemono Friends was huge in Japan so that makes sense. Also it was interesting to see which shows were most popular by age:

I hope that Kemono Friends isn't dead but Kadokawa doesn't seem to know what to do with it.

If Made in Abyss can't win a "Most interesting anime of [blank]" contest then there is something seriously wrong with people.

I wonder what Interesting means in this case. How a title that should have been a badly animated throwaway came out the way it did is certainly a level of "Interesting" that is different from a production that looks good and wound up good. If they're taking the Meta of the industry into account, KF wins.

To me, this survey was incomplete without adding "Sakura Quest". Seriously, I think that show should have sold at least 8500 units for each of its already DVD//BD shipped volumes.
